Please note if you click on the above link to order your script – Airlie Medical Practice will now use Patient Access to allow patients to order repeat medication as well as making appointments or cancelling appointments.  If you haven’t already registered  with patient access  please speak to a member of the team to obtain a username and password to allow access to patient access.  This is more streamlined so is easier for patients to use.  If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact any member of staff who would be happy to explain.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on long-term medication the Doctor may give you a repeat prescription slip.

Repeat prescriptions may be obtained by calling in person or by post. We will no longer take your request over the telephone but can be ordered though our dedicated prescription line where you can leave a voice mail to request your medication.

Please give 48 hours notice any prescriptions handed in on a Friday can be collected the following Tuesday.

Serial Prescriptions

A serial prescription is a prescription for medicine(s) you need to treat a long term condition, they can be issued for up to 48 weeks and the prescription is stored at the pharmacist. This means you would only need to visit the pharmacist for your repeat medication during this time and you don’t need to remember to keep reordering it from your GP.
